betr.gsc is operated by designtakt GmbH, Hallerstrasse 60, 3012 Bern, Switzerland ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website (betrgsc.com) and our application (app.betrgsc.com).

Account data: When you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also store an authentication token to maintain your session.

Google Search Console data: With your explicit consent during OAuth, we access your Google Search Console performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, positions) in read-only mode. We do not modify any data in your Google Search Console account.

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies on our website or in the application.

We use your data to provide and improve betr.gsc: authenticating your account, fetching and analysing your Search Console data, generating cluster scores, detecting content decay, and splitting branded vs. non-branded traffic. We may also use your email to send you service-related communications such as billing receipts, security notices, or material product changes.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or Search Console data with third parties for marketing purposes.

betr.gsc's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum scopes necessary to provide the service.

Your account data and processed Search Console data are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, Inc. (USA), which operates under standard contractual clauses ensuring GDPR-adequate data protection. Our website content is served via Vercel, Inc. (USA) and Sanity AS (Norway). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. (USA) — we do not store your full payment details.

We retain your account data and processed Search Console data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove all associated personal data and Search Console data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) and the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can revoke Google OAuth access through your Google account settings. To exercise any of these rights or to request a full data export, email us at [email protected].

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to all registered users. Continued use of betr.gsc after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
